He successfully completed CMA review courses and the ARDA AEI Qualification Test. From 1973 to 1987, he was the General Operations Manager/Division Controller for Community First Federal Savings, Resort Controller for Rippling River Resort, Lodge Controller for Sunriver Resort and Controller, Subsidiaries Division for Far West Federal Savings for the Inn at Otter Crest and Inn of the 7th Mountain.

As the Senior Tax Manager at Donald L. Wilson, CPA, PC in Portland, Oregon from 1988 to 1993, he headed the audit that uncovered developer fraud at Schooner Landing and was responsible for hospitality industry clients. As Managing Agent at Schooner Landing since 1993 under the Sun Bow Management, Inc. banner, Steve has turned the property from near-bankruptcy to financial stability. He was instrumental in selling the remaining 30 percent of the resort and increased rental revenues from $90,000 to $277,000 in three years. Currently, he is the Treasurer for the Schooner Landing Home Owners Association.

Steve's strengths lie in his diverse career in resort operational management with an extensive background in finance and accounting. He is a specialist in budget formulation, operational streamlining, procedural review, expense monitoring and the hiring, training and control of staff.

Brenda Johnson

Brenda D. Johnson   Real Estate Broker with RE/MAX Integrity has been assisting buyers and sellers in Lincoln County since 1998. RE/MAX Integrity is centrally located in Depoe Bay, Oregon and Brenda serves all areas of Lincoln County from Yachats to Lincoln City and eastward to include Toledo and Siletz.  Brenda also has 18 years experience working in the resort condominium and hospitality industry. Through additional training and education she has achieved the designations of Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI), Short Sales & Foreclosures Resource Certifiication (SFR), Resort Property Specialist (RPS) with emphasis on residential property sales.  

Educated at Clackamas Community College in Oregon, Brenda is a State of Oregon Licensed Real Estate Agent, a member of the Oregon Realtors Association.

From 1982 to 1985, Brenda made a rapid rise to Convention Services Representative at Sunriver Lodge and Resort in Sunriver, Oregon. From 1985-1991, she was Director of Catering and Convention Services at The Resort at the Mountain in Welches, Oregon where she solicited and directed the servicing of catering functions for the 150 room, full service condominium resort. She supervised and administered all aspects of convention activities and exceeded all prior years' revenue levels.

As Group Sales Manager at the Vacation Villages of America, Portland, Oregon, from 1991 to 1993, she developed group sales programs for two coastal properties, adding over 50 new accounts in her first year.

Upon the formation of Sun Bow Management, Inc. in 1993, she served as Managing Agent at Schooner Landing in Newport, Oregon where, with her husband, Steve, she collected over $40,000 in deliquent dues, reduced the delinquency rate to less than three percent, implemented many owner/guest education programs and managed the area of Human Resources.

Brenda is an active volunteer in the community, has served in numerous capacities on the Lincoln County Board of Realtors over many years and currently holds the position of Past President and RPAC Committee Chair and served previously as state director of the Oregon Association of Realtors representing Lincoln County.
